Matchstick magic

Matchsticks are one of the most easily available items in most households. They are not only wonderful building blocks for many art and craft projects but can also serve as a tool to create amazing matchstick puzzles. Although the name contains matchstick, it doesn’t necessarily mean you use matchsticks. You can use any long slender objects which can act like lines of finite size like pen, pencil, sketch pen etc.

Later, you can introduce them the concept of solving matchstick puzzle using a very simple one for engagement. Following is an example to explain the concept and at the same time challenge him/her -
