Amal Journey Reflection

New starts were never good for me. Starting with the fellowship was a bit bumpy, and even after that, it was not a smooth road for me. But success rarely comes without some bumps in the road. It’s your belief in yourself and your willingness to persevere that will ultimately lead to a positive outcome. But I started with a belief that I will do it.

I managed to complete the first and then the second PWs with 10 and 20 marks respectively, which obviously are not as good as I am in completing tasks, and these numbers clearly show how less interested I was in fellowship, But then in the third week I was quite free from the office and other personal things, So, I completed my PW3 and got 31 marks which were really encouraging for myself. :> So, I decided to not quit and decided to just do what I can easily do.

I am not a very good photographer also I don’t take pictures frequently. So, if I try to think about any memory of Amal is not about any picture I took it’s about a story of Edhi Shb which we were assigned to read as a blog, and it is even before starting the AMAL fellowship. I was not very inclined to join the Amal fellowship. But that story of Edhi Sahab made a soft space in my heart about AMAL.

In PW5 we were assigned to collect funds for the cause which was something I enjoyed a lot. and also we managed to collect a good amount.

Although there is a lot I did in this fellowship that I never did before Fundraising campaign is something that really changed something in me. I am the kind of person who doesn’t take the pain of things that are not my responsibility. But as a task it made me realize that Serving Society is also our responsibility.

So, taking responsibility for serving social causes I something which is changed me.
