Global warming is the long-term warming of the planet’s overall temperature. It occurs when carbon dioxide and other air pollutants collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation. Normally this radiation would escape into space, but these pollutants, trap the heat and cause the planet to get hotter.
Severe Droughts
Water Shortages
Increased risks of forest wildfires Rising sea levels and coastal flooding
Disruption of habitats driving plant and animal species to extinction
Higher levels of air pollution
Heatwaves and extreme heat can lead to heat-related illnesses and deaths. Changes in temperature and precipitation patterns can affect the spread of diseases, including vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue fever.
Figure 4: USA Average Temperature graphs in the last decade.
Many evidence supports the theory that USA and the entire globe is warming. When you compare these four 20 year average temperature graphs you can see that the coordinates and temperatures are gradually increasing. Recalling, that increasing temperatures is a strong supporting data for global warming.
